balls
black shells
clam shells
creek fossils
eggs
flat
geometric
graduated
hearts
imagery
mottled
mussel shells
other shells
parallelograms
rods
runes
speckled
squares & cubes
striated and striped
triangles & spearheads
     
~creek~
this is the creek
these are the waters
that place
where we squatted
and climbed
hour
after hour
salamander
fish
fossil
broken dams
snow melt
bubble
and
flow

I collect Rocks and Things too. There is great meaning in each rock I touch and each one has it's own energy.

My therapist said they represent grounding and stability to me, something I did not grow up with.

I love the flow of this poem/ tribute as well as the visual arrangement.
