"We belong on the cutting edge of innovation," the U.S. Prez sez. Given our Unitarian Universalist history of departing from inherited hierarchies and prescribed roles, how do we earn the reputation of being on the "cutting edge of innovation" in this regard? What are some examples of recent breakthroughs of how we empower and celebrate those within our communities of faith, ethics, shared vision?
This is not a question of theory or abstraction but of direct experience. How have you been supported in your pursuits for skill, knowledge and mastery? How have you been empowered, acknowledged, respected, celebrated? Or not?
